SHOCK ABSORBERS
NITRO GAS STRUTS/SHOCKS
Ironman 35mm bore Nitro Gas Shocks are the rugged all round 4x4 performance shock absorber. The struts are height adjustable with the use of 5mm, 10mm or 15mm spacers. Ironman Nitro Gas Shocks provide exceptional performance for both standard and raised height 4x4’s whilst delivering superior ride control and comfort both on and off road. Improve stability when towing or carrying a load. Each and every Ironman shock absorber is force velocity tested before packaging to ensure all parts received are uniform and within operating specification. High quality materials such as German Fuchs High temp shock absorber fluid, Japanese NOK multilip seals are used. Strength and durability requirements are sorted by the use of re-enforced single piece eye rings and stems. Rubber shock absorber bushes are used by Ironman, this is to promote maximum flexibility and reduction in unwanted side load and NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) transmission which often causes seal failures in other brand shock absorbers using Polyurethane.

Ironman Foam Cell provides the ultimate in 4x4 shock absorber design and features with 50% more oil for cooler running. Exceptional performance for both standard and raised height 4x4’s & superior ride control and comfort both on and off road is what you can expect from these shock absorbers. The shocks, designed by Ironman 4x4 suspension engineers, have been individually made component by component to produce the world’s finest offroad shock absorber. Each and every Ironman shock absorber is force velocity tested before packaging to ensure all parts received are uniform and within operating specification. The Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro range is designed to meet all the demands and challenges faced both on and off-road, loaded or unloaded while producing a superb ride.

The key to 4x4 shock performance is dissipating heat caused by suspension articulation and making sure the mounting points are big enough to cope with the stresses a 4x4 vehicle endures; on road, towing or off road in corrugations. With more oil and a larger surface area, Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro minimize heat buildup and maintain their ideal performance no matter what you throw at them.

LOAD PLUS

DESCRIPTION

Ironman 4x4 Load Plus Helper Springs are the perfect addition to any leaf sprung vehicle carrying variable loads. Load Plus provides a cost effective way to quickly and easily improve the load carrying characteristics of your vehicle. Perfect for trade vehicles, couriers or even the family vehicle, Load Plus allows users to progressively adjust the leaf springs of your vehicle to better manage heavy loads.

Load Plus is the most economical leaf spring upgrade available, providing the benefits of better load handling, whist enabling easy return to stock suspension characteristics when desired, and can be easily fitted at home with basic equipment.

Load Plus core value surrounds its ability to adjust your vehicles suspension characteristics up to its GVM. If you have an unladen vehicle, leave the load plus at a lower setting, add weight up to the vehicles GVM and progressively tension the Load Plus to maintain your vehicles driving characteristics and ride height by progressively stiffening the suspension.

ADD-A-LEAF

Ironman 4x4 Add-a-Leaf is a simple, cost effective addition to boost your existing leaf springs.
Kit includes 2x tapered leafs with anti-friction inserts, M8 and M10 replacement centre bolts and easy to follow instructions.

ALLIGNMENT & ACCESSORIES

SHACKLES & PINS

Greasable shackles and pins enable the easy re-greasing of polyurethane spring bushes.

All Ironman 4x4 shackles and pins are:

QUAD-OUTLET GREASABLE –

Greasable shackles providing an easy method of re-lubricating polyurethane bushes. Quad-Outlet ports distribute grease liberally along the bush surface ensuring you minimize wear of the bush and maximize the serviceable life of them.

SERVICABLE –

All Ironman 4x4 shackles and pins feature a serviceable bolt together construction to ensure you can maintain them and ensure they maximize their lifetime.

ANTI-INVERSION SHACKLE –

On selected models Ironman 4x4 includes a third pin on our shackles. This pin is positioned to protect the spring in the case of an inversion.

ADJUSTABLE PANHARD RODS

Used to correct axle shift after raising suspension. Adjustable as required to re-centralize the axle to vehicle.

DRIVELINE SPACERS

An increase in driveline angles can create a vibration that is felt throughout the vehicle, this vibration is caused by excessive angle on the tailshaft.

The spacer kit lowers the centre bearing to reduce tailshaft angle and reduce vibration to a satisfactory level.

ADJUSTABLE TRAILING ARMS

Trailing arms are some of the most exposed suspension components on a lifted 4x4 and are prone to bending and breaking. Ironman 4x4 has resolved this common problem by producing heavy duty ADR approved, adjustable upper and lower trailing arms to suit GQ/ GU Patrols and 80/105 Series Landcruisers.

Providing radically stronger arms that can also correct driveline and pinion angles, the control arms feature over 5” of adjustment to suit a range of lifts and applications. The arms are on-vehicle adjustable, providing ease of adjustment once on the vehicle to ensure diff alignment is spot on!

Oh and did we mention they were tough? Featuring a solid 32mm centre, 60% increase in the thickness of the eyes surrounding the bushes and deeper penetrating welds to ensure maximum strength and structural integrity.

5mm/10mm/15mm STRUT SPACER

For use only with Ironman 4x4 struts, available individually to adjust "side to side" or "front to back" vehicle lean due to uneven load placement.

PRECISE RIDE HEIGHT TUNING

Basic steel collar design fits over Ironman 4x4 struts to adjust spring seat height.

PRE-CONFIGURED THICKNESS

Varied thicknesses allow correct selection according to the amount of lean. Usually provides 2:1 ratio suspension lift on independent suspension vehicles.

CAMBER CORRECTION

When raising or lowering a vehicle with McPherson Strut suspension, an increase in negative or positive camber will result, how much depends on the ride height.

Ironman 4x4 Adjustable Camber Bolts are a universal solution to provide up to ± 1.75 degrees camber adjustment in a wide range of strut suspension vehicles, especially soft-roaders. 

Set contains one pair of essentric bolts, enough to suit one vehicle and are an essential product when raising or lowering a vehicle equipped with McPherson Strut suspension. 

Easy installation with detailed fitting instructions included. Adjustment is gained by rotating the head of the essentric cam bolt till desired result is achieved. 

Best results obtained when used in conjunction with suitable wheel alignment equipment.
